Silicone molds for jewelry resin: holes, bubbles, and sprues
Jewelry cavities fail on trapped air in holes and torn bails. Spec vents, a sprue, and a compatibility coupon. Platinum RTV. MOQ 20.
A jewelry resin mold is a small cavity with through-holes, bails, and a gloss face that copies every bubble. Don't scale a coaster tray down and hope 1 mm holes fill. Air traps in pierced openings; a missing sprue leaves a nub on the show face; a sharp undercut tears a 10A lip when you pop a green UV or epoxy piece. RUUIPON pours platinum RTV jewelry tools in Bao'an since 2018: master, box, A/B, vacuum degas, optional keys. Prototype in 3-7 business days after CAD lock. MOQ 20 pcs/design. Not a food tray. Hub: resin molds. Chemistry split: epoxy vs PU. Figurines: figurine molds.

Holes need a path, not a prayer
Send resin type (epoxy, UV, PU), whether holes must be as-molded or drilled after, bail undercut, gloss vs matte, and cavity count on a plaque. Through-holes want a core pin or a later drill - pick one. Vacuum or pressure on the *casting* helps more than raising Shore.
Master finish is the jewelry. Print layer lines become every pendant. Finish before pour - master models. Coupon the resin against the skin.
Multi-cavity plaques still sag
A 24-up earring plaque without a board can dish 0.5-1.5 mm. Outer-row pieces then run thick. Jacket or a rigid plaque backer.
When this jewelry advice does not apply
Metal lost-wax vulcanized rubber is a different factory. Food-contact charms are food pages with 177.2600. LSR jewelry *parts* → wydsilicone.com. A one-off pendant can skip production keys. Geometry can override quantity: a locked bail still needs a split at 40 pops.
If you only have photos, custom 3D modeling is USD $50 when that scope applies.

Send STL, hole intent, and resin family to contact ([email protected] / +86 135 3006 2969). Licheng Technology Industry Park, Xinhe Blvd, Shajing, Baoan.
Matched CTA: Send hole/bail photos and resin family for a vent-and-sprue review - not a coaster-tray quote.
We would not recommend as-molded hair-thin holes without a core pin
We would not recommend spruing on the show face. We would not skip a coupon on UV resin. We would not hang 177.2600 on a jewelry skin unless the dump is food. We would not raise Shore A first to hide plaque sag.
RUUIPON Mold Structure Decision: open-back pendant if draft peels. Locked bail? split or drill the hole after. Multi-cavity plaque? backer. Coupon before MOQ 20.

FAQ
Can you mold a 0.5 mm jump-ring hole? Sometimes with a pin; often better drilled after. Don't freeze it from a screenshot.
Why are there bubbles in every setting? No vent, viscous resin, or skipped vacuum/pressure on the casting - not "bad silicone."
Is UV resin the same as epoxy for the skin? Coupon both. Inhibition and heat differ.
Is this food-grade? Not by default.
How fast is a prototype? 3-7 business days after CAD lock. Pour the real resin.
