What We Manufacture
Use this route when the silicone mold will be filled with gummy, chocolate, resin, plaster, wax, soap, water, batter or another compatible casting material. If the finished item itself is silicone, the project may require HCR/HTV compression molding, LSR injection molding or an overmolding route rather than an RTV casting mold.

The right choice depends on part geometry, material, volume, tolerance needs, inserts and how the product will be assembled or used.
You do not need perfect production CAD to start a discussion. A sketch, sample, photo set or rough model can be enough for an initial DFM review. If new geometry must be created, the design scope and approval point should be defined before tooling begins.
For gummy, chocolate, baking, ice and other food-contact projects, material selection and documentation need to match the actual use and destination market.

Development Process

STEP/STP is preferred for dimension-controlled engineering work, but STL, drawings, photos, artwork and physical samples can also be used to begin review.

We review the release path, undercuts, parting lines, wall or web design, cavity layout, support, inserts, fit features and process-specific risks before tooling is released.

If production-ready geometry does not exist, we confirm the required modeling or reverse-engineering scope before chargeable design begins. Simple 3D modeling is typically around USD 50 when the project is not complex.

The prototype should prove the items that matter to the job: dimensions, fit, demolding, cavity volume, piece weight, surface finish, hardness, assembly or functional performance.

Production begins after the design or sample is approved. Applicable RTV mold programs can start from 20 molds per design. HCR/HTV, LSR, overmolding and metal-tool programs are quoted according to the project.

Materials & documentation
Material selection depends on what the silicone will contact and what the finished mold or part must survive. Relevant factors can include food contact, service temperature, flexibility, tear requirements, chemical exposure, color, mechanical load, repeated use and cleaning.
For food-contact projects, material and available test documentation are confirmed for the selected silicone grade, intended use and destination market. A report for one compound or one article should not be presented as a factory-wide approval for every product.
