Custom logo ice molds: relief that still reads after freeze

A molded-in ice logo needs draft, depth, and a tray you can carry full of water. Platinum RTV, 21 CFR 177.2600 extraction - not a factory stamp. MOQ 20.

A custom logo in ice has to survive freeze expansion, stay readable in the glass, and leave the tray without cracking the cube or tearing the lip. Don't send a PNG with no depth and expect the brand to print in cloudy ice. Raised or recessed art copies only if the rubber can enter the serifs and the ice can peel without locking a sharp trench. RUUIPON pours platinum RTV ice tools in Bao'an since 2018: master, box, A/B, vacuum degas, lid or jacket. Prototype in 3-7 business days after CAD lock so you can freeze and peel for real. MOQ 20 pcs/design. 21 CFR 177.2600 is extraction of the finished article, not an FDA-approved factory. The ice product hub is custom silicone ice molds. Spheres without a brand sit on ice sphere molds. Artwork DFM: custom logo silicone molds.

Raised, recessed, and "will it show in a dark drink"

Recessed in the ice (raised on the master) hides some wear but starves fine serifs. Raised in the ice reads well in a clear cube and can lock if the brand is sharp and deep. Pad-print on a glass is not this tool. Pick one on the 2D.

About 0.3 mm minimum feature is a common conversation; 0.4 mm recessed brand is a common food-mold start - not a promise every font survives freeze. Hairline serifs belong in print. Keep the mark off any sealing lid land.

Tray handling is a wet, heavy problem

The mold may be carried full of water across a kitchen before freezing. That's a loaded-tray sag of about 0.5-1.5 mm at the edge if you skip support, plus spill. Hospitality wants peel speed and stack. Retail may need a lid. Tell us which environment - we won't guess a bar stack from a gift-box render.

Ice is aqueous contact at cold temperature. Name the market and the color. Don't reuse a soap or resin skin on an ice SKU.

When this logo-ice advice does not apply

Industrial block-ice tooling is not this page. A cube grid with no brand is the ice hub, not this slug. Housewares LSR ice trays sold as molded parts belong at a parts OEM / wydsilicone.com. Geometry can override quantity: a negative-draft mascot still needs draft or a split at 40 trays.

If you only have photos, custom 3D modeling is USD $50 when that scope applies.

Logo-ice RFQ to copy

  • Process: platinum RTV food-contact ice tray
  • Cube / sphere / spear; finished ice size and glassware fit
  • Outlined vectors; depth; raised or recessed in the ice
  • Bar vs retail (lid, stack)
  • Tray outer size; support tray or lid yes/no
  • Market; 177.2600 / LFGB
  • Custom 3D modeling: USD $50 when that scope applies
  • Prototype freeze + peel, then MOQ 20 pcs/design

Send cube size, use environment, and logo files to contact ([email protected] / +86 135 3006 2969). Licheng Technology Industry Park, Xinhe Blvd, Shajing, Baoan.

Matched CTA: Send outlined logo, ice size, and whether staff carry the tray full of water - not a generic free quote.

We would not recommend a sharp, deep logo that holds the cube

We would not recommend a floppy 10A water tray for a 2-inch branded cube. We would not call 177.2600 an FDA-approved factory. We would not treat a chocolate temper tray as an ice tool without a freeze test. We would not skip a support tray and then blame Shore for spills.

RUUIPON Mold Structure Decision: open-back cubes if draft peels. Deep brand lock? more draft or a peelable wall. Large water fill? mother mold, lid, or rigid support before you add cavities.

FAQ

Can I send a PNG of my bar logo? You can, and the shop will redraw it. Send outlined vectors with depth and raised-or-recessed stated. Bitmaps become arguments about missing serifs.

Why does the logo freeze but vanish in the drink? Too shallow, too fine, or cloudy ice hiding a recessed mark. We review stroke and depth against the glassware, not only the empty cavity.

Are ice molds FDA-approved? No factory stamp. 21 CFR 177.2600 is extraction of the finished article. Name the market and compound.

Do I need a lid? Retail kits often yes. Bar trays often want stack and speed instead. Tell us the environment.

How fast is a prototype I can freeze? Commonly 3-7 business days after CAD lock. Freeze and peel before MOQ 20.
