Custom Logo Silicone Molds

RUUIPON develops custom silicone molds with molded-in logos, lettering, textures and branded shapes for chocolate, gummy, soap, resin, ice, candle, wax and other compatible casting applications.

Send vector artwork or the best file you have together with the finished-product size, casting material and whether the logo should appear raised or recessed on the finished casting.

The logo is reviewed as three-dimensional geometry before tooling.

Send Your Logo Artwork How small can a molded logo be?

Buyers often say embossed or debossed when they mean the finished casting. Say whether the mark should stand proud or sit recessed on the product. That is the molded-logo decision. The cavity is the opposite of that finished face.

Raised vs Recessed: Define the Finished Product

A logo raised on the finished product is recessed in the mold cavity.

A logo recessed on the finished product is raised inside the cavity.

Confirm the finished result first.

The two directions can behave differently during:

  • filling;
  • demolding;
  • cleaning;
  • surface finishing.

Artwork Files

Preferred:

  • AI;
  • EPS;
  • SVG;
  • vector PDF.

Also reviewable:

  • PNG/JPG;
  • sketch;
  • physical sample;
  • photograph.

Raster artwork may need redraw/vectorization before reliable 3D geometry can be approved.

Do not assume a PNG by itself defines:

  • real size;
  • feature depth;
  • raised/recessed direction;
  • minimum stroke;
  • surface finish.

Review:

  • narrowest stroke;
  • smallest gap;
  • isolated islands;
  • internal counters;
  • serif tips;
  • feature depth;
  • corner geometry;
  • spacing.

A large logo can still contain one impractical fine feature.

A smaller, simpler logo can sometimes reproduce more reliably.

There is no one universal minimum feature size for every casting material and mold geometry.

Casting Material Changes the Logo Design

Chocolate, gummy, soap, wax, resin, plaster and ice do not fill or release the same way.

The same artwork may need different 3D treatment depending on:

  • viscosity/fill;
  • finished rigidity;
  • product thickness;
  • demolding;
  • surface requirement.

Do not approve branding without knowing what material will be cast. Ice, chocolate and baking each change fill and peel: see custom silicone ice molds, custom silicone chocolate molds and custom silicone baking molds when the pour is already chosen.

Surface Finish

The mold reproduces the master surface.

For a cosmetic logo:

  • approve gloss/matte;
  • check master quality;
  • remove unwanted print/machining marks;
  • verify logo edges.

A clean vector file does not guarantee a clean finished casting if the master surface is poor.

Prototype Critical Branding

For a brand-critical mark, validate:

  • readability;
  • fill;
  • release;
  • surface;
  • direction;
  • real scale.

Use the final artwork where possible.

A generic test logo does not prove the buyer’s final brand will reproduce correctly.

Finished Silicone Products Are a Different Manufacturing Route

If the logo is on a finished silicone product rather than on a flexible casting mold, RUUIPON can review:

  • molded-in branding;
  • HCR/HTV compression molding;
  • LSR injection molding;
  • silicone overmolding;
  • secondary marking/printing where applicable.

Do not treat every branded silicone mold as an RTV casting cavity, and do not treat every finished silicone article as a pour tray. Factory-scope and process selection sit on the custom silicone mold manufacturer page. Send artwork plus pour material through contact.

What Affects the Quote?

  • artwork cleanup/vectorization;
  • 3D logo development;
  • finished product size;
  • depth/detail;
  • casting material;
  • mold structure;
  • surface finish;
  • prototype/testing;
  • cavity count;
  • production quantity.

Commercial terms are confirmed by project.

Commercial baseline: Standard MOQ: 20 pcs per design for applicable custom RTV production. Standard CAD / 3D modeling fee: USD 50 when RUUIPON builds or revises 3D. Tooling, unit price, lead time and shipping are confirmed for the specific project.

Request a Logo Mold Review

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes for review. It may need redraw/vectorization and still requires real size, depth and raised/recessed direction.

Can you make the logo deeper so it looks clearer?

Not automatically. Depth has to work with stroke width, filling, product thickness and demolding.

Is there a universal minimum font or line size?

No. Review the smallest actual feature and validate critical branding in a prototype.

Can I see the logo in 3D before mold production?

For new modeling, approve the relevant 3D geometry/render before tooling.

Can the same logo design be used for chocolate and resin?

The artwork may be shared, but the mold geometry may need different depth/detail treatment because the casting materials behave differently.
