Approving a hero photo while missing flash and island tears is how production diverges from the sample. If you are at QC sign-off, the test cast is your pour - pectin, chocolate, resin, wax, soap, plaster, or concrete - at real temperature, with a written pass/fail and a shot list (grams, peel, keys, logo, flash). A three-quarter grey cavity photo is not a golden sample. This service is the photography and the yes/no that starts MOQ 20.

Shot list we need with the sample
Five consecutive pulls beat one hero crop. Tear often shows on pull 3-5, not pull 1. If the SKU is chocolate, send tempered chocolate or say you have not poured yet. Hobby resin on a chocolate tool teaches the wrong stick.

A useful note reads like this: Revision B dumped in pectin. CTQ weights passed on cavities 1, 6, 12 (jacketed). Released without abnormal stretch. Key 3 walks; recut before production.

- Pass sentence in the intended dump, not in water.
- CTQs named with relaxed / jacketed / loaded.
- Structure matches production: split, keys, jacket, cavity count.
- Reject is one line: flash / tear / grams / OD - not a mood board.
- Who signs, and where the paper and golden sample live for reorder.
Shore after your pour can stay in the same CAD. A hidden hook is a CAD reopen. A units miss is a CAD reopen. Prototype is typically 3-7 business days after the new lock if CAD reopens.

Reject vs nudge vs reopen CAD
A Shore band change after a real peel can stay on the locked solid. Flash on a named equator can be trim-ok if you write it. A walking key, a starved logo, or a systematic gram miss is a recut. Write flash / tear / grams / OD in one line. A lighting complaint is not a reject.
Worked example: chocolate bar, temper dump
Typical job, not a named customer. Buyer wanted to approve from a render. We required a temper dump, weighed bars, marked equator flash as trim-ok, rejected a seam that walked onto the wordmark, recut keys, then MOQ 20. The beauty shot would have missed the walk. When this sign-off is the wrong ritual
A catalog ice tray that already matches does not need this service. Lot sampling on a repeat PO belongs on quality control, not a second sign-off novel. LSR FAI is a different RFQ - ask us. Geometry can override quantity: one split sculpture still needs a real pull and the shot list.

Does reject restart MOQ 20? Prototype is not the production lot. Production MOQ 20 still applies after you approve.
Witness pour at RUUIPON? Only if we agreed it. Default is your chemistry.
Same as the samples hub? Samples is the commercial samples URL. This is QC photography and sign-off.
Is a video enough? Video plus weights and a sentence. Video alone is still a photo.
Different dump later? New sign-off. Chemistry lock first.
