A flexible sheet folded at the corner in a cheap pack is a failed export, not a freight win. If you're shipping production RTV trays from Bao'an, this service is the pack spec: flat or nested without printing into pockets, jackets seated so keys don't nick, cartons marked "do not fold," Incoterm named. Saving a cubic metre by rolling 10A-20A skins is how outer-row grams drift after the ocean.

What to put on the RFQ for pack
- Tray L × W × H and Shore band.
- Jacket yes/no and shell material (plaster hates the ocean).
- Do-not-fold on production food sheets.
- Incoterm: EXW / FOB / DDP and destination.
- Master returned or archived.
Common mix-up: pack decided after CAD freeze
A 600 mm one-piece jacket that will not fit the door should have split at DFM. Don't ask to fold the silicone in the crate.

Failure: arrived creased, DDP vs EXW fight
Symptom: Corner set; cracked plaster jacket; buyer compared another factory's EXW to our DDP.
Confirm: Opening photos. PI Incoterm. "Do not fold" marks.
Fix: Recast if set is permanent. Rebuild pack. Don't iron cavities.
Worked example: 20 jacketed 48-up pectin sheets, DDP US
Flat cartons, seated jackets, cavity faces protected, DDP on the RFQ. Rolling would have shown up as 3-6% outer-row drift. MOQ 20, prototype already signed.

- Flat vs nest - can nest print into a pocket?

We would not recommend rolling production trays
We would not recommend plaster jackets as the default ocean pack. We would not recommend comparing EXW to DDP. We would not recommend stacking on cavity faces.
