Solution
Custom Silicone Manufacturing for Startups, Brands & OEM Projects
Early-stage product teams often need more than a unit price. They need help selecting the manufacturing process, converting an idea into buildable geometry, validating a prototype and scaling after the design works.
RUUIPON supports custom RTV silicone molds, HCR/HTV compression-molded products, LSR components and silicone overmolding. The route depends on what the customer is actually selling and the expected production volume.
You can start from:
- sketch
- photo
- artwork
- sample
- STL
- STEP/STP
Simple 3D modeling is USD 50 when RUUIPON builds or revises 3D. See design support.
Need a Flexible Mold to Cast Another Material?
RTV mold-development route.
Need a Finished Molded Silicone Product?
HCR/HTV compression molding may fit.
Need a Precision LSR Component?
Review LSR tooling and production.
Need Silicone on Metal/Plastic?
Review overmolding/insert molding.
Prototype should validate:
- fit
- dimensions
- surface
- hardness
- release
- function
- weight/volume
- assembly
Prove the high-risk items on the prototype before committing to large production.
Applicable RTV mold production starts from 20 molds per approved design.
This is useful for:
- new branded mold SKUs
- seasonal launches
- first production after prototype
- small brands validating workflow
For finished silicone products, tooling/MOQ are quoted according to:
- geometry
- material
- cavity count
- quantity
- quality requirements
Use LSR when the geometry, material and volume justify an injection route.
Define:
- logo
- color
- surface
- SKU/revision
- packaging size
- labeling
- documentation
For confidential concepts, NDA can be signed before complete design files are shared.
Ownership/exclusivity should be defined separately in commercial documents.
I only want 20–50 pieces after the sample. Is that possible?
For applicable RTV mold programs, yes, with MOQ from 20. Finished HCR/HTV/LSR products have different MOQ/tooling economics.
Can I compare two design concepts before tooling?
Yes. Resolve the concept/DFM first; then tool the approved direction.
Can one common tool use interchangeable inserts?
Sometimes. Modular inserts can make sense when the base geometry is shared and the changing feature is suitable for the process.
Keep:
- approved revision
- sample reference
- CAD/master/tool record
- material/process
- packaging/SKU
Do startups need production-ready CAD?
You can start with a sketch, photos, a sample or an early drawing. Share the intended use and key dimensions so we can identify the design work and information needed before prototyping or tooling.
Is MOQ 20 for all OEM silicone products?
MOQ 20 applies to the relevant custom RTV mold service per design. Finished silicone parts and other manufacturing routes are quoted separately according to the project requirements and production scope.
